Stine Marcinkowski
A redesign for a Gothenburg dance artist and somatic practitioner: nine pages rebuilt as six, on Astro and Sanity, so she can keep the site current herself.
Brief
Stine is a dance artist, culture producer and somatic practitioner in Gothenburg. Her site had grown one page at a time until it had nine of them. She wanted it kept whole, easier to find a way through, and editable without calling anyone.
Result
Stine updates the site herself. Every word, photograph and date lives in Sanity, in Swedish, with a plain sentence under each field saying what it is for. She writes, presses Publish, and the site is live about forty five seconds later.
The calendar is the page she touches most, so it was built to need the least. She adds a date, a venue and an age range, and that is all. Upcoming events sort themselves to the top and passed ones drop below, with nothing to tidy up afterwards.
Six pages instead of nine, grouped by what someone is looking for. The site is built with Astro and served by Cloudflare, and every old address redirects to the page that replaced it.
