The Centre of the World was a travel I made the other way around. Instead of moving around the world I made the world move around me.
Between 2009 and 2012 I hosted 151 tourists that were traveling in Barcelona and asked for free accommodation through the Couch Surfing website. During that time, the Centre of the World was my home, in Barcelona.
With the idea to portrait people from all the countries of the World, for three years I photographed all the tourists that I hosted in my home. To be portrayed, they were asked to choose an object they were traveling with and another from my home.
